Gumloop
by Gumloop
No-code AI agent builder for business teams, with IT controls and Gumstack auditing of AI tool use
Gumloop is an AI agent and automation builder that lets non-technical staff in marketing, sales, legal and operations create agents connected to company apps. It is for organizations that want employees automating their own work while IT keeps control of access, cost and audit logs.
Gumloop is a hosted platform for building AI agents and automations without engineering help. Max Brodeur-Urbas and fellow McGill University engineering graduates founded it in mid-2023 in Vancouver, and the company moved to the San Francisco area in early 2025. It raised a $50M Series B on March 12, 2026, led by Benchmark, with Nexus Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Box Group, The Cannon Project and Shopify Ventures also participating. Press reports name Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, Instacart and Opendoor among customers, with staff using it for data analysis and customer research. Users describe the work in plain language and get agents that connect to more than 100 listed apps through MCP servers, including Salesforce, Slack, Snowflake, BigQuery and GitHub. Agents act on triggers described in plain English, use reusable skills, and produce shareable documents, dashboards and web apps. A cloud browser adds a credential vault, 1Password support and session replays. Developers get a REST API, an MCP server and Python and JavaScript SDKs. Gumloop works with any AI model and bills in credits, charging per step with higher costs for model calls. Gumstack, its security product, logs and audits tool calls and data use across Gumloop agents and outside tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor, which puts Gumloop partly into the AI governance market as well as agent building. The company's site lists SSO, audit logging, usage monitoring and VPC deployments. It competes with Zapier, Make and n8n among workflow tools and with Lindy, Relevance AI and Tasklet among agent builders. Third-party guides dated September and October 2026 report a $37 monthly Pro plan and a custom Enterprise tier.
A CIO or head of business systems at a mid-sized or large company whose non-technical teams want to build their own agents, and who needs central control and audit logs over that activity.
Business teams can build and run their own connected AI agents while IT keeps control of access, and Gumstack logs tool calls and data use across agents and outside AI tools.

Key Features
- ✓Plain-language agent builder
Staff describe the work in plain language and get an agent connected to company apps, which removes the need for engineering support.
- ✓Plain-English triggers
Users state what to monitor on the web or across apps, and the agent acts when those conditions match, which replaces manual checks.
- ✓Reusable skills
Agents write, refine and share playbooks as skills, so a process that works for one team can be reused by other teams.
- ✓Artifacts
Agents produce shareable files and collaborative web apps that read and write connected tool data in real time, beyond a chat answer.
- ✓Agent cloud browser
A cloud browser includes a credential vault, 1Password support, verified agent identity and session replays, which helps teams review what an agent did on a site.
- ✓Gumstack auditing
Gumstack logs and audits tool calls and data use across Gumloop agents and external tools, giving security teams a record of AI activity.
- ✓Developer access
A REST API, an MCP server, Python and JavaScript SDKs, and webhooks let engineers embed or trigger agents from existing systems.
Capabilities
Use Cases
- •Customer research
A marketing analyst builds an agent that gathers customer information across connected tools and returns a shareable summary without any engineering ticket.
- •Sales workflow automation
A sales team connects Salesforce, Gong and Slack so that an agent handles routine follow-up research and posts results where reps already work.
- •Data analysis for business teams
Staff ask an agent connected to Snowflake or BigQuery for analysis, and receive a dashboard or document they can share with colleagues.
- •AI usage auditing
A security team uses Gumstack to review tool calls and data use across agents and tools such as Cursor and ChatGPT.
Ideal For
Best For
- ✓Marketing and sales teams automating research and customer analysis without engineering support
- ✓Legal and operations staff building internal agents that run from Slack, Microsoft Teams or email
- ✓IT and security teams that want logs of tool calls across Gumloop agents, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor
- ✓Companies that want unlimited seats so usage can spread across departments without per-user fees
Not Ideal For
- ✗Organizations that must self-host, because one October 2026 review found no self-hosting option listed and n8n offers one for free
- ✗Engineering teams running very high-volume pipelines, where credits per step and concurrency limits can make custom code cheaper to operate
- ✗Buyers who require published pricing for every tier, since Enterprise terms are negotiated and Gumloop's plan structure has changed several times

Market Analysis
Pros
- ✓Non-technical staff can build agents without IT support, according to the company and press coverage of its customers
- ✓Unlimited team seats mean wider adoption does not add per-user fees
- ✓Works with any AI model and connects to more than 100 listed apps through MCP servers
- ✓Gumstack extends logging beyond Gumloop's own agents to outside AI tools
Cons
- ✗Each step costs credits and model calls cost more, so Activepieces, a competitor, advises measuring credits per run on a real sample before budgeting
- ✗Pro credits expire each billing cycle, and more than half of the Pro allowance is reported to be promotional and subject to change
- ✗SSO, credit rollover and custom concurrency are Enterprise-only, and Enterprise pricing is negotiated
- ✗Concurrency limits can turn bursts of runs into queues, and no self-hosting option is listed, per Activepieces
- ✗Plan structure has changed often: Activepieces says the free allowance fell from 5,000 credits a month in 2024 to zero by April 2026

Gumloop's pricing page returned no readable plan text on November 3, 2026, so these figures come from Layer3Labs (September 6, 2026) and Activepieces (October 17, 2026), the latter a competitor. Both report Pro at $37 a month with 20,000 credits, about 12,600 of them promotional according to third-party analysis. Credits are spent per step, model calls cost more, and Pro credits expire each 30-day cycle. Activepieces reports overage at $0.005 per credit. SSO, rollover and custom concurrency require Enterprise. Older references to Free and Team plans are out of date, so confirm the current terms with sales.
