AI-native expert network: an AI interviewer and research agents that run primary research continuously
Qualitate is an AI-native primary research platform that uses an AI Interviewer to run thousands of expert and buyer interviews a month, then structures them into a searchable research library and research agents. It is for investment firms and corporate strategy, product and go-to-market teams that rely on expert networks.
Qualitate, a New York company led by founder and CEO Sagar Kadakia (previously at CB Insights and ETR), sells what it calls a continuous primary intelligence system, a replacement for project-by-project expert network calls. Its AI Interviewer conducts adaptive interviews with vetted decision makers, budget holders and industry experts from Qualitate's own panel, and the results feed a structured research library covering tens of thousands of companies and end markets. Teams query that library through Qualitate's research agent or bring it into Claude, Codex and other AI tools over MCP, and they can also use API and data-feed integrations. Private custom studies run alongside: Qualitate handles interview design, sourcing, AI moderation and structured findings, and teams can mix in human-led calls or their own transcripts. In April 2026 AlleyWatch described typical custom projects as 20 to 25 interviews delivered in 3 to 7 business days at roughly one third of traditional expert network cost (a company claim). Compliance controls include MNPI and PII screening of every interview, compliance pre-approval of questions, reviewer sign-off before colleagues see results and SOC 2 Type II certification; custom research is private and not used to train models. Qualitate raised a $7M seed co-led by IA Ventures and Crew Capital in April 2026, then a $25M Series A led by Insight Partners in October 2026. It names UiPath, Insight Partners, Alger, Flashpoint and Squarepoint Capital as customers.
A private equity, hedge fund or corporate strategy team that spends heavily on expert network calls and wants faster, cheaper primary research with compliance controls built in.
Dozens to hundreds of structured expert or customer interviews in days, queryable by agents and AI tools instead of buried in transcripts.

Capabilities
Use Cases
- •PE commercial diligence
A large private equity firm interviewed 25 churned customers and 25 former employees in eight business days to test a target's moat.
- •Customer research at scale
A publicly traded technology company interviewed more than 300 vetted customers in 72 hours and surfaced a competitor integration advantage.
- •Ongoing channel checks
A hedge fund queries the continuously updated library for buyer sentiment on a vendor instead of commissioning a new round of calls.
- •Win/loss and churn analysis
A go-to-market team runs a private study on lost deals to see why buyers chose competitors and where pricing can move.
Ideal For
Best For
- ✓Private equity commercial due diligence, such as interviewing a target's churned customers and former employees
- ✓Hedge fund and credit channel checks that need many buyer conversations quickly
- ✓Corporate win/loss, churn and competitive intelligence studies for product and go-to-market teams
- ✓Teams that want expert research available inside Claude or Codex through MCP
Not Ideal For

Market Analysis
Pros
- ✓Speed: custom studies of 20 to 25 interviews in 3 to 7 business days, and a 300-customer study in 72 hours per the company
- ✓Compliance features aimed at investment firms: MNPI screening, question pre-approval, reviewer sign-off and SOC 2 Type II
- ✓Insight Partners was a paying customer before leading the Series A, and named customers include UiPath, Alger and Squarepoint Capital
Cons
- ✗Young company: the seed was April 2026 and the Series A six months later, so long-term panel quality and support are unproven
- ✗No published pricing, and the cost saving versus expert networks is a company claim without independent verification
- ✗AI-moderated interviews are less suited to nuanced conversations with a few senior experts, which Qualitate covers through human-led calls instead
- ✗No independent user reviews on G2, Capterra or Hacker News yet, so all performance figures are company-reported
