AI browser for sales, recruiting and support teams, with shareable agent 'companions' that work inside your logged-in tabs
Strawberry is a desktop web browser for macOS and Windows with built-in AI agents, called companions, that research, fill spreadsheets, draft outreach and take meeting notes using the tabs and logins a user already has. It is aimed at non-technical teams in sales, recruiting, marketing and customer service that want agent automation without writing code or wiring up APIs.
Strawberry is an AI browser built by a 12-person Stockholm startup founded in 2023 by Charles Maddock (CEO), Sebastian Thunman (COO) and Arian Hanifi (CTO). It raised $6M in October 2025 in a round led by General Catalyst and EQT Ventures, with founders of Lovable, Supabase and Hugging Face participating. The beta opened to about 10,000 waitlisted users, downloads opened to everyone in mid-February 2026, and version 1.0 left beta on October 26, 2026, when it was also Product Hunt's #1 product of the day. Users either hire one of nine preset companions (such as Sales Sally and Talent Theo) or build their own; each has its own instructions, memory, files, routines and skills. Companions read the screen, operate web pages with the user's existing sessions, use connected apps such as Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Linear and Notion, and can split large jobs, for example researching 200 companies, across parallel sub-agents. Routines run on a schedule or fire on an event like a new email or sales lead. Version 1.0 added team sharing of trained companions and bot-free local recording of Zoom, Teams and Google Meet calls that become notes and follow-ups. Companions pause for approval before sending email, publishing posts or changing records, and permissions are set per app and per action. Passwords, history and cookies stay encrypted on the device, the product is model agnostic, and Tech.eu reports companies can keep customer data inside the EU. Named users include Lovable, which uses it to source engineers, and Tandem Health. Strawberry pitches itself against ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini agent products more than against other AI browsers.
A sales, recruiting or RevOps lead at a small or mid-sized company whose team does repetitive research and outreach in the browser and has no engineers to build agent workflows.
Agents that act inside the team's existing logged-in web tools, so prospect research, list building and follow-ups run without integrations, and a trained companion can be shared with the whole team.

Key Features
- ✓Companions
Trainable AI agents with their own instructions, memory, files and skills that learn a user's or team's workflows over time.
- ✓Team-shared companions
A companion one employee trains can be shared with colleagues, so the team starts from the same setup instead of rebuilding it.
- ✓Parallel sub-agents
Large jobs such as researching 200 companies are split across sub-agents running at once, which the company says also uses fewer credits.
- ✓Routines and triggers
Companions run on an interval or cron schedule, or start automatically when a new email or sales lead arrives.
- ✓Bot-free meeting recording
Records Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls locally without a bot joining, then turns them into notes and follow-up tasks.
- ✓Approval and permission controls
Companions pause before sending email, publishing or changing records, and admins choose per app and per action what runs without asking.
- ✓Local credential storage
Passwords, history and cookies stay encrypted on the device, and companions reuse the user's existing browser sessions for logged-in sites.
Capabilities
Use Cases
- •Account research for outbound sales
A rep asks a companion to research a target list, pull firmographics into a sheet and draft first-touch emails for review.
- •Candidate sourcing
A recruiter runs a sourcing companion across LinkedIn and job boards; Lovable is named as using Strawberry to source engineers.
- •Lead-triggered follow-up
A routine fires when a new lead lands in HubSpot, researches the company and drafts a follow-up that waits for approval.
- •Meeting notes without a bot
A customer success manager records a Teams call locally and gets notes and follow-up tasks without an assistant joining the call.
- •Competitive monitoring
A marketing lead schedules a companion to check competitor sites weekly and summarise pricing or feature changes into a report.
Ideal For
Best For
- ✓Sales prospecting: researching accounts and contacts and drafting personalised outreach
- ✓Recruiting teams sourcing candidates across LinkedIn and job boards
- ✓Extracting web data, including pages behind logins, into spreadsheets or reports
- ✓Meeting prep and bot-free notes for Zoom, Teams and Google Meet calls
- ✓Recurring monitoring tasks triggered by new email or new leads
Not Ideal For
- ✗Regulated enterprises that need SSO, admin controls and a certified SOC 2 report today: the site says it 'meets SOC 2 requirements' but claims no certification and documents no SSO
- ✗Teams that need API-level, auditable automation for high-volume back-office processes, where an integration platform or RPA tool is more predictable than a browser agent
- ✗Workflows on sites that block automated agents or demand 2FA mid-task, which Product Hunt commenters flagged as open questions
- ✗Linux users, since only macOS and Windows builds exist
Deployment
Market Analysis
Pros
- ✓No-code agents for non-technical teams, with nine preset job roles to start from
- ✓Free tier and low entry price of $20 a month
- ✓Approval prompts before outbound or destructive actions
- ✓Credentials stay on the device and EU data residency is available
Cons
- ✗Product Hunt commenters asked how jobs proceed on sites that block bots or demand 2FA mid-task, and the launch material does not settle it
- ✗TNW questioned whether a companion trained by one employee does reliable work for a whole team, or adds oversight work
- ✗A hands-on review found it could not access local files and needed manual help on an upload step
- ✗No SOC 2 certification claimed, no SSO documented, and team pricing is unpublished

Plans are metered in credits that companion chats and actions consume; browsing itself is free, and top-ups cost $10 per 1,000 credits. Monthly plans run $20, $85 and $250 per user on the vendor site (G2's listing shows $100 for the middle tier, so check the live page). Team pricing is quote-only, and the site documents no enterprise tier, SSO or admin console.
