  • •Governing internal AI agents in production
  • •Alert noise reduction and blind-spot discovery
  • •Regulated or air-gapped operations
  • •Weekly reliability reporting

Ideal For

Best For

  • ✓SRE teams triaging high alert volumes across Datadog, Splunk, Grafana and cloud-native telemetry
  • ✓Enterprises that need AI incident investigation inside their own VPC, on-premises or air-gapped
  • ✓Platform teams that want Claude Code, Cursor or Codex to reach production telemetry under shared guardrails
  • ✓Engineering leaders who need per-team reporting on agent activity and model spend
  • ✓Organisations that route P1 incidents through Jira and want an agent posting root causes on the ticket

Not Ideal For

  • ✗Teams looking for one tool to replace observability, on-call paging and status pages: NeuBird investigates on top of those tools and does not provide them
  • ✗Buyers with very noisy alerting who need a fixed, predictable bill, since investigations consume credits and credit prices are not published
  • ✗Small teams that want a long track record of public enterprise references and third-party reviews before buying; review sites had little or no user feedback as of November 2026

Market Analysis

Enterprise-gradeAI SREAgent governance

Pros

  • ✓Broad deployment options, including air-gapped, suit regulated buyers
  • ✓Human approval and an audit trail on every state-changing action
  • ✓No ingest or storage fees; telemetry is queried where it already lives
  • ✓Founders previously built and sold Portworx to Pure Storage

Cons

  • ✗Credit-based billing is hard to forecast when alerting is noisy, and credit prices are not published
  • ✗It is not an observability or incident-management product, so teams still pay for paging, status pages and telemetry storage
  • ✗Headline accuracy and cost-reduction figures are vendor-reported; Capterra and PeerSpot listed no user reviews as of November 2026
  • ✗An analyst at Efficiently Connected expects observability platforms and hyperscaler AIOps to compete directly within 12 to 18 months

NeuBird meters on credits, not ingest or storage: triage is free, an investigation or analyst run costs 1 credit, a cluster run 2 credits, and the company estimates about 100 credits a month per 1,000 alerts. The per-credit price is not published; Better Stack, a competitor, cites roughly $25 per investigation from third-party sources, which is unverified. Enterprise pricing is custom.

NeuBird Agentic Reliability Center (ARC) is a governed platform for AI agents that investigate and act on production systems, and it runs NeuBird's Production Ops Agent, an AI SRE. It is built for SRE and platform teams that want root-cause analysis in minutes while keeping humans in charge of every change.

NeuBird Agentic Reliability Center (ARC) is the platform NeuBird made generally available in October 2026, announced at its FLOCK '26 conference in San Francisco on October 14. It sits between production telemetry and the AI agents that read it: NeuBird's own Production Ops Agent (the AI SRE previously sold as Hawkeye), coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex connected over the Model Context Protocol, and agents a customer builds in-house. ARC is organised around three functions the company calls access, memory and serve. Access is a single metered connection to telemetry and to models (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI or customer-hosted models), querying 50+ integrations such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, PagerDuty, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud in place, without bulk-storing raw logs, metrics or traces. Memory is a versioned layer that records each investigation, its conclusions and engineer corrections with attribution. Serve is governed multi-agent work: actions move through Suggest, Recommend and Act policy tiers, and anything that changes state needs a human approval that lands in an audit trail. The launch also shipped NeuBird Advisor, which traces the reasoning of customer-built agents, and NeuBird for Jira on Atlassian Forge, which lets engineers assign P1 incidents to the agent. NeuBird says the agent finds root cause in under five minutes with 94% accuracy and that customers see 80% fewer P1 war rooms; those are vendor figures, not independently verified. It deploys as SaaS, in a customer VPC, on-premises, hybrid or air-gapped, and RH is a named customer. NeuBird was founded in 2023 by Gou Rao and Vinod Jayaraman, who previously sold Portworx to Pure Storage, and is backed by Mayfield, Microsoft's M12, StepStone, Prosperity7 and Xora Innovation.

Ideal Buyer

A VP of Engineering or head of SRE running a large multi-cloud or hybrid estate who wants AI-driven incident investigation but needs every agent action approved and audited.

Key Benefit

Faster root-cause analysis on production incidents through one governed, metered layer, with a human signing off before any agent changes a system.

Key Features

  • ✓
    Production Ops Agent

An AI SRE that investigates alerts across the stack, proposes fixes such as rolling back a deploy, and stages them for human approval.

  • ✓
    Governed model and telemetry access

One metered connection to telemetry and to models like Claude, GPT and Bedrock, with per-agent budgets so model spend is attributable.

  • ✓
    Versioned operational memory

Records every investigation, conclusion and engineer correction with author attribution and version history, so recurring incidents are recognised faster.

  • ✓
Policy tiers with earned write access

Agents move from Suggest to Recommend to Act, and any state-changing action needs a logged human approval before it runs.

  • ✓
    MCP access for coding agents

Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and homegrown agents connect over the Model Context Protocol and inherit the same telemetry, memory and approval controls.

  • ✓
    NeuBird for Jira

Built on Atlassian Forge, it lets engineers assign P1 incidents to the agent, which posts root causes and suggested fixes as ticket comments.

  • ✓
    NeuBird Advisor

Traces the runtime reasoning of customer-built agents, checks their diagnoses against live context and flags missing evidence for engineering leaders.

Capabilities

✓text generation
✗image generation
✗video generation
✗code generation
✓workflow automation
✓api access
✗audio generation
✗fine tuning
✓agent orchestration

Use Cases

  • •
    Automated P1 root-cause analysis

The agent queries logs, metrics and traces in parallel when a P1 fires and returns a cited root cause, cutting war-room time.

  • •
Governing internal AI agents in production

Platform teams put homegrown and third-party agents behind one audited layer so they can see what each agent did, cost and changed.

  • •
Alert noise reduction and blind-spot discovery

Triage and discovery agents cluster related alerts and surface services that have no owner, alert or runbook before they cause an outage.

  • •
    Regulated or air-gapped operations

Banks and other regulated operators run the agent in their own VPC or on-premises so telemetry never leaves their environment.

  • •
    Weekly reliability reporting

Engineering leaders receive a weekly brief on incidents, agent activity and model spend by team without assembling it by hand.
