by IWANN Steering Committee
The biennial work-conference on neural networks and computational intelligence, with proceedings in Springer LNCS.
About This Event
IWANN 2027, the 19th International Work-Conference on Artificial Neural Networks, takes place at the Hotel Melia Costa Atlantis in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain, on June 14-16, 2027. It is a biennial research meeting with an uninterrupted run of 36 years, and its editions have been held every two years since 1991. Papers cover deep learning, time series forecasting, bio-inspired systems, robotics, brain-computer interfaces and machine learning for Industry 4.0. Accepted papers appear in Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science, and selected extended papers have gone to journals including Neural Computing and Applications and PeerJ Computer Science.

- ✓Applied AI leads in manufacturing
- ✓Healthcare AI researchers
- ✓Robotics engineers
- ✓Early-career researchers and PhD students
Why Attend
IWANN suits a VP of AI or research lead who wants applied neural network work outside the crowded US conference calendar. Topics such as machine learning for Industry 4.0, time series forecasting and AI in 5G map onto problems in factories and telecom networks. A three-day programme at a single hotel makes it easy to meet the academic groups presenting there, which helps with hiring and with finding research partners. The March 30, 2027 paper deadline leaves time to submit applied work from this year.
Event Features
- ✓Call for papers topic: machine learning for Industry 4.0
- ✓Call for papers topic: time series forecasting
- ✓Call for papers topic: robotics and cognitive systems
