About This Event

EUROGRAPHICS 2027, the 48th Annual Conference of the European Association for Computer Graphics, runs 10-14 May 2027 in Lucca, Italy, on the IMT Campus inside the city walls. The programme is built from keynote talks, technical papers, tutorials and panels. The full-paper call explicitly covers generative AI and deep learning for graphics alongside rendering, modelling, animation, simulation, geometry processing, image and video editing, fabrication and 3D printing, computational imaging, display technologies, graphics hardware, human-computer interaction, visualisation and virtual and augmented reality, and it also invites submissions introducing new datasets and benchmarks or documenting original perceptual and experimental studies. Papers go through a two-round review with a rebuttal and a conditional-acceptance revision cycle, and at least one author of an accepted paper must register and present in person.

Why Attend

Neural rendering, generative 3D and diffusion-based content pipelines are moving out of research and into product for anyone shipping simulation, digital twins, CAD, media production or spatial computing, and Eurographics is where the European end of that work is presented before it lands in a vendor release. For a VP of engineering or a head of 3D and media platform, the value is calibration: which neural methods have real perceptual evaluation behind them, which datasets and benchmarks the field actually trusts, and which academic groups are worth a research partnership or a hire. The STARs track in particular is a shortcut to the current consensus in a subfield.

Event Features

  • Full Papers track (abstract and submission form 25 September 2026; paper 1 October 2026)
  • State-of-the-Art Reports (STARs) track
  • Keynote talks
  • Tutorials
  • Panels
  • Dataset, benchmark and perceptual-study submissions accepted within the full-paper track

What Makes This Unique

  • The European one of the two long-running annual general computer graphics conferences, now in its 48th edition.
  • Its call puts generative AI and deep learning for graphics on the same footing as classical rendering and geometry, so it is a single venue for both sides of the neural-graphics shift.
  • Two-round review with a rebuttal (30 November 2026) and a conditional-acceptance revision cycle rather than a single accept/reject.
  • Explicitly invites dataset, benchmark and perceptual/experimental-study submissions, not only method papers.
  • Campus venue — the IMT School for Advanced Studies inside Lucca's historic walls — rather than a convention centre.
