About This Event

The AMLD Intelligence Summit 2027 is the applied machine learning and AI conference run by the EPFL AI Center, held in person at the SwissTech Convention Center on the EPFL campus in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 9 to 11 March 2027. The first two days combine keynotes and conference tracks (09:00 to 17:30) with an exhibition floor, and an evening reception closes day one. Over its ten years the series reports 18,000+ participants, 1,000+ talks, 200+ partners and attendees from 40+ countries. It describes itself as a public, non-profit event, all sessions are in English, and lunch is included with the ticket.

Why Attend

For a European CTO or head of AI, AMLD puts EPFL researchers, Swiss and European corporate ML teams, startups and investors in one building for three days. Use the two conference days to see what applied teams are actually shipping, then send engineers to the workshop day for hands-on training. The Speed Meetings make it a practical place to scout startups and research partners, and the reduced academic and public-sector rates keep the audience broader than a vendor show.

Event Features

  • ✓Conference: keynotes and tracks on 9 and 10 March, 09:00 to 17:30
  • ✓Workshop day: hands-on sessions on 11 March, 09:00 to 17:30
  • ✓Exhibition with live demos of new tools (10:00 to 19:00 on day one, 10:00 to 16:00 on day two)
  • ✓Open Stage for startup pitches, short talks and open debate
  • ✓Call for Posters and community-organised tracks (Organize a Track)
  • ✓Organiser Speed Meetings: bookable 15-minute one-to-one meetings
  • ✓Opening-day reception until 19:00

What Makes This Unique

  • ★Run by a university (the EPFL AI Center) as a public, non-profit event rather than by a commercial events company
  • ★A full day of hands-on workshops on Thursday 11 March, separate from the two conference days
  • ★Organiser Speed Meetings let attendees book 15-minute one-to-one meetings with companies, startups and investors
  • ★Reduced-price tickets for students, academia, startups, non-profits and government, so the room mixes researchers, founders and corporate teams
  • ★Ten-year track record: 18,000+ participants and 1,000+ talks across editions, per the organiser
