AI Dev NYC 2026 (DeepLearning.AI)
by DeepLearning.AI
A two-day, hands-on technical conference for people building with AI, hosted by Andrew Ng
About This Event
AI Dev NYC 2026 is DeepLearning.AI's two-day technical conference for AI engineers and builders, held at Chelsea Piers in New York City on November 30 and December 1, 2026. Andrew Ng hosts and gives the opening keynote on the AI engineering skills map, and Yann LeCun, executive chairman of AMI Labs and an NYU professor, joins him on stage for a conversation. The organizer expects more than 2,000 attendees. Sessions are hands-on and graded by level from beginner to expert, covering GraphRAG on knowledge graphs, persistent memory for agents, browser automation, repository context for coding agents, quality and security review of AI-generated code, and running agents reliably in production. Speakers come from OpenAI, Hugging Face, Oracle, Neo4j, Sonar, Qdrant and Unblocked, with more to be announced.

Who Should Attend
- ✓AI engineers
- ✓Software engineers
- ✓Machine learning engineers
- ✓Engineering managers and heads of AI platform
- ✓CTOs and VPs of engineering
- ✓AI startup founders
Why Attend
For a CTO or VP of engineering, this is two days on how agent systems are built and run, at $599 a seat. You can send a team to the production-agents, code-security and agent-memory sessions and have them come back with patterns to test against your own platform choices. Speakers from OpenAI, Hugging Face, Oracle, Neo4j and Qdrant present their own tooling, and because sessions are graded by level you can put junior and senior engineers in different rooms. Team tickets are arranged through aidev@deeplearning.ai.
Event Features
- ✓Opening keynote: The AI Engineering Skills Map (Andrew Ng)
- ✓Andrew Ng in conversation with Yann LeCun
- ✓Agent Harnesses: a two-part workshop (Hugging Face)
- ✓Implement GraphRAG with Knowledge Graphs (Grounding models with data track, Intermediate)
- ✓Engineer Persistent Memory for AI Agents (Managing data track, Advanced)
- ✓Analyze AI-Generated Code for Quality and Security (Making systems secure and reliable track, Intermediate)
- ✓Deploy Reliable AI Agents in Production (Operating in production track, Advanced)
- ✓Engineer Repository Context for Coding Agents (Advanced)
- ✓Explore Meta-Harness Architectures for AI Agents (Building agentic systems track, Expert)
- ✓Engineer Synthetic Data for Open LLMs (Machine learning foundations track, Expert)
What Makes This Unique
- ★Run by DeepLearning.AI and hosted by Andrew Ng, with Yann LeCun (AMI Labs, NYU) in conversation on the main stage
- ★Every technical session is labelled Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Expert, so a team can split up by skill level
- ★Event listings describe a no-pitching-on-stage rule, and the agenda is built around hands-on sessions and workshops
- ★The agenda leans hard toward agents in production: memory, harnesses, browser automation, repository context and reliability
- ★Featured partners include OpenAI, BlackRock, Hugging Face and AMI Labs, and one session covers agent architecture for financial workflows
