Agentic AI platform for voice, chat and email customer service, now extended to employee IT and HR support with Nexus EDGE
Yellow.ai is an enterprise agentic AI platform that builds and runs AI agents for customer service across voice, chat and email, and since September 2026 for employee IT, HR and operations support. It is aimed at large contact centers and service desks that need multilingual automation on top of existing CRM and helpdesk systems.
Yellow.ai is an enterprise conversational and agentic AI platform used by more than 650 brands across the US, the Middle East, India, Asia-Pacific and South America, according to the company. It started as a chatbot and voice-bot vendor; when it raised a $78.15M Series C led by WestBridge Capital in August 2021, VentureBeat reported voice bots deployed at over 700 companies and clients including Domino's, Sephora and Waste Connections. Its current product, Nexus, is a platform for designing, deploying and maintaining AI agents. It includes AI Agent Builder 2.0 for creating agents from natural-language prompts, a conversational knowledge base using agentic retrieval, AI Copilot for debugging agents, automated testing, analytics and agent assist for human staff. Nexus VOX handles phone calls in what the company says are more than 500 languages, and the platform routes across 15+ LLMs to avoid single-model lock-in. On September 29, 2026 Yellow.ai launched Nexus EDGE, which moves the platform onto employee desktops. A cloud Nexus Agent reasons over knowledge bases, SOPs and enterprise applications, while a local desktop agent uses computer use to read the screen and fix issues such as VPN failures or software installs, within the signed-in user's role-based permissions and only after the employee approves each action. People Matters reported that the product documentation lists 114 supported enterprise tools including ServiceNow, Jira, Okta, Slack and Microsoft 365. Yellow.ai has not published independent metrics for Nexus EDGE. The company lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA and PCI-DSS on its site, and has raised about $102M in total.

- ✓Nexus VOX voice agents
Answers phone calls, takes actions and resolves issues in a claimed 500+ languages, running on existing contact-center telephony.
- ✓AI Agent Builder 2.0

- ✓Multi-LLM routing

Retrieves answers from enterprise knowledge using agentic RAG, so agents cite company content instead of general model knowledge.
- ✓Automated testing and AI Copilot
Tests agents before deployment and previews, debugs and tunes their behavior, reducing regressions when flows change.
Capabilities

- •Multilingual voice support
A contact center deploys Nexus VOX on its existing telephony to answer and resolve routine calls in customers' own languages.
- •Employee IT self-healing
Nexus EDGE diagnoses a VPN failure or a broken software install on an employee laptop and fixes it after the employee approves.
- •HR and operations requests
Employees get HR and operations requests resolved on the desktop within their existing role-based permissions, with an audit trail of every action.
- •Omnichannel customer service
A brand runs one set of agents across voice, chat, WhatsApp and email, with handoff to human agents through Salesforce or Zendesk.
- •Proactive campaigns
Marketing and service teams send proactive outbound campaigns through the same platform and track results with LLM analytics dashboards.
Ideal For
Best For
- ✓Enterprises automating high-volume phone and chat support in many languages
- ✓Contact centers running Genesys, NICE, Zendesk or Salesforce that want AI agents on existing channels
- ✓IT service desks that want L1 fixes like VPN or software installs handled on the employee's own machine
- ✓Regulated buyers that need SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA and PCI-DSS attestations
- ✓Organizations that want to route across multiple LLMs instead of committing to one model vendor
Not Ideal For
- ✗Teams that need a published price before talking to sales, since the Enterprise plan is quote-only
- ✗Small teams that only want a help-center answer bot, which G2 reviewers say does not justify a multi-month implementation
- ✗Organizations without a dedicated owner for building and testing conversation flows over several months
- ✗Companies whose knowledge lives mainly in Google Drive, Notion or Confluence, as the integrations page names only SharePoint and AWS S3 as knowledge connectors
