Ushur Agentic Platform
by Ushur
AI agents built to finish customer journeys in insurance, healthcare and financial services.
The Ushur Agentic Platform lets regulated enterprises build, launch and govern AI agents that carry a customer request from first contact to resolution across SMS, email, web, chat and voice. It is aimed at health plans, insurers and lenders that need audit trails and human oversight on every automated interaction.
The Ushur Agentic Platform (UAP), announced on July 22, 2026, is Ushur's environment for building and operating AI agents that complete customer journeys in regulated industries. Its agents understand intent, gather information, retrieve documents and act across enterprise systems to finish tasks such as updating a member's coverage, moving an insurance claim forward or onboarding a banking customer. A conversation can start with an outbound text, continue on the web and end in a phone call with context carried across SMS, RCS, email, web, chat and voice, plus Ushur's Invisible App web experience. Business teams build journeys in Ushur Studio, a no-code environment, or by describing them to Ushur Assist in plain language, and measure results in Ushur Insights. The platform follows Ushur Intelligence, the agentic layer launched in June 2025, and a provider-service agent for health plans released in October 2025 that handles benefits verification, prior authorisation, claims checks, credentialing and directory updates. Ushur describes a trust-native architecture with guardrails, real-time observability, conversation replay for regulators and segmentation of PHI, PII and financial data, and claims HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR and HITRUST compliance (HITRUST r2 recertified April 2025). Named customers include Aflac, Cigna, Evernorth, CalOptima, IEHP, Irish Life and Sun Life. Ushur, led by co-founder and CEO Simha Sadasiva, raised a $50M Series C led by Third Point Ventures in February 2023. Software Advice lists pricing from $1,000 per month and a 4.5/5 rating across 31 reviews.
A CX or operations leader at a health plan, insurer or lender who must automate member and customer servicing while keeping every interaction auditable for regulators.
Routine servicing journeys such as claims status, enrollment and provider inquiries resolve end to end without an agent on the phone, with a replayable audit record.

Capabilities
Use Cases
- •Provider service at a Medicaid and Medicare plan
A California plan with more than 1 million members used Ushur's AI agent for benefits, prior authorisation and claims inquiries, deflecting call center traffic to self-service.
- •Medicaid redetermination outreach
Outbound SMS prompts members to renew coverage, then the agent gathers documents on the web and completes the redetermination without a phone queue.
- •Insurance claims progression
Policyholders check claim status and submit missing documents through the agent, which updates core systems so the claim keeps moving.
- •Lending KYC onboarding
New banking or loan customers complete identity checks and onboarding steps through a guided agent journey that keeps an auditable record for compliance.
