Peec AI

AI search analytics that track how ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews describe and cite your brand
Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform for marketing teams and agencies that need to see how engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews mention, rank and cite their brands. It measures visibility, position, sentiment and sources against competitors.
Peec AI is a Berlin-based analytics product that launched in February 2025 and measures how AI answer engines treat a brand. Marketing teams enter prompts their customers might ask, and Peec runs them daily across the selected engines, then reports visibility, share of voice, sentiment and position against competitors. A sources layer shows which domains and URLs the engines cite, and an Actions feature groups those into suggested next steps. Self-serve plans let you track three models chosen from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, while Enterprise adds Perplexity and API-based models including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Mistral. Newer modules include Crawl Insights, which analyzes AI bot activity in server logs, and AI Shopping Analytics, launched in June 2026 for SKU-level tracking. According to Sacra, data is collected through browser automation in consumer interfaces rather than official APIs, which reflects what users see but leaves the product exposed if those platforms change or restrict access. Peec raised a $21M Series A in November 2025 led by Singular, bringing total funding to $29M, after a seed round led by 20VC. Sacra estimates about $20M ARR at the end of October 2026 and names Chanel, Hugo Boss, Zalando, Wix and Axel Springer as customers; the company claims more than 4,000 brands and agencies. Peec reports on visibility and suggests actions, but it does not write or publish content, which is where Profound and AirOps push further. Semrush, Ahrefs and HubSpot now bundle AI visibility features too. In October 2026, a Peec researcher's post on publishing 50,000 invented statistics to test LLM citations drew 371 points on Hacker News, and the post warned about fabricated data spreading through AI answers.

Key Features
- ✓Prompt tracking
Prompts run daily across selected AI engines, with suggested prompts and volume indications to help teams choose what to monitor.
- ✓Competitor benchmarking
Visibility, position and sentiment are compared against named competitors, with unlimited competitors on every plan, which supports share-of-voice reporting.
- ✓Source analytics
Domain and URL views show which pages AI engines cite and retrieve, so teams can see where outreach or new content could change answers.
- ✓Crawl Insights
Server-log and CDN integrations show how AI bots visit your site, connecting to Vercel, Cloudflare, AWS, Akamai and other sources.
- ✓AI Shopping Analytics
Product catalog upload and SKU-level tracking show which merchants and products appear in AI shopping results for your category.
- ✓API, MCP and Looker Studio access
A REST API from Pro upward, MCP access and a Looker Studio connector move the data into existing reporting and agent workflows.
Capabilities
Use Cases
- •Executive AI visibility reporting
A marketing lead tracks share of voice across AI engines each month and gives executives a shareable dashboard comparing the brand with rivals.
- •Citation outreach planning
An SEO team reviews the third-party pages AI engines cite most often, then prioritizes those publishers for corrections, coverage or partnership outreach.
- •Agency client reporting
An agency tracks several client brands in separate projects and sends results through Looker Studio, replacing manual checks of AI answers for each account.
- •Product visibility in AI shopping
An ecommerce team uploads its catalog and monitors SKU-level appearances, so it can see which products AI shopping answers leave out.
Ideal For
Best For
- ✓Marketing teams reporting AI search visibility and share of voice against named competitors
- ✓Agencies running AI visibility reporting across several client brands, using Looker Studio dashboards
- ✓SEO teams identifying which domains and URLs AI engines cite for their category prompts
- ✓Ecommerce brands tracking product-level presence in AI shopping results
Not Ideal For
- ✗Teams that want a platform to draft and stage content, because Peec reports and recommends but has no content engine
- ✗Brands with few existing AI mentions or needing historical baselines, since tracking starts at setup and offers no retroactive data
- ✗Global programs that need all engines on a lower plan, because self-serve tiers track three models and full coverage requires add-ons or Enterprise

Market Analysis
Pros
- ✓OMR reviewers most often praise the clear, intuitive dashboards, followed by responsive support
- ✓Published pricing with unlimited seats makes it simple to trial without a sales cycle
- ✓API from Pro upward, plus MCP and Looker Studio options, fits existing reporting stacks
- ✓Modules for crawl analysis and AI shopping extend it beyond prompt tracking
Cons
- ✗OMR reviewers cite a steep initial learning curve, off-target suggested prompts and a data volume that can slow quick answers
- ✗One OMR reviewer reports limited coverage outside the DACH region and for niche LLMs
- ✗It has no content engine, and competitors Airefs and Profound both argue its recommendations stop short of clear next steps
- ✗Tracking begins at setup, so a new account has no historical performance to compare against
- ✗Sacra flags platform dependence, since browser-based collection relies on consumer interfaces that AI vendors could change or restrict

Monthly prices checked on Peec's pricing page on November 3, 2026, and they are metered by prompts, not seats, with unlimited users on every plan. Airefs, a competitor, reports annual billing at $80, $205 and $420 a month and extra models as paid add-ons from about $35 a month on Starter. Self-serve plans track three models. SSO, unlimited prompts and the wider engine list require a custom annual Enterprise contract. Older reviews quoting euro prices are out of date.
