Momentic is an AI testing platform that writes, runs and repairs end-to-end tests for web, iOS and Android apps from plain-English intent. It is built for engineering teams shipping AI-generated code faster than they can hand-maintain Playwright or Selenium suites, and removes the selector maintenance and flaky-test triage that eat QA time.
Momentic is a San Francisco-based, Y Combinator W24 company founded in late 2023 by Wei-Wei Wu (CEO) and Jeff An (CTO) that sells what it calls an agentic quality platform. Instead of CSS or XPath selectors, teams describe user flows in natural language; Momentic's agents use language models and computer vision to locate elements, execute steps and re-locate them when the UI changes, so tests self-heal after refactors. Tests are stored as an intent-based YAML format readable by humans and AI, run from a CLI on a laptop, in CI (GitHub Actions and CircleCI recipes are documented) or in a cloud sandbox, and a local MCP server gives coding agents a live browser or device to author and triage tests. Web tests run on Chromium only; mobile runs on iOS simulators and Android emulators, not physical devices. A June 2026 platform update added an Explore agent that expands coverage and a Failure Classification agent that opens pull requests to heal non-bug failures. On September 28, 2026 the company launched Mo, a scriptless QA agent: given an app URL, credentials and intent, it deploys a swarm of agents across thousands of permutations and returns video and repro steps per failure, optionally exporting a script. Momentic raised a $15M Series A led by Standard Capital in November 2025 (total $19.2M) and names Notion, Xero, Webflow, Retool and Bilt as customers.
