Encharge is a behaviour-driven marketing automation platform aimed at SaaS companies and agencies. Its visual flow builder turns product events — signups, feature use, failed payments, trial expiry — into branching email journeys, backed by segmentation, lead scoring, website tracking and native CRM and billing integrations. Use Cases

  • SaaS trial-to-paid conversion
  • Product onboarding sequences
  • Churn prevention on billing failures
  • Account-based B2B nurture
  • Agency multi-client management

Ideal For

Best For

  • SaaS companies running trial-to-paid and onboarding lifecycle email
  • Product-led growth teams that want product events, not list uploads, driving campaigns
  • Small agencies managing marketing automation for several clients from one account
  • Teams already on Stripe, Chargebee, HubSpot or Segment who want native event wiring
  • Marketers who want a visual flow builder they can operate without developer support

Not Ideal For

  • Buyers shopping for an AI-first platform — Encharge's AI amounts to a GPT-4o subject-line generator and a separate inbox-categorisation product, with no AI journey optimisation, send-time prediction or predictive scoring
  • Solo users and pre-revenue startups: there is no free plan and entry pricing is $99/month, or $79 billed yearly, for 2,000 subscribers
  • High-volume senders sensitive to overage, since sends are capped at 10x to 12x the subscriber limit and overages run $100 per 100,000 emails
  • Teams needing deep e-commerce or CMS connectors out of the box; reviewers report gaps and API problems around WordPress, Shopify and form builders that need third-party connectors

Market Analysis

SMB and mid-marketProduct-led SaaS
User Rating4.9/ 5

Pros

  • Very strong independent review scores — 4.9/5 across 297 GetApp reviews — with the flow builder's clarity cited repeatedly
  • A behaviour-first data model that suits product-led SaaS far better than list-centric email tools
  • Support responsiveness is the single most consistent piece of praise across review platforms
  • Native Stripe, Chargebee, HubSpot, Salesforce and Segment connectors remove a middleware layer for the common SaaS stack

Cons

  • AI capability is thin for an AI directory: one subject-line generator and a separate side product, with no AI journey optimisation, send-time prediction or predictive scoring
  • No free tier at all, and the cheapest plan is $99/month on monthly billing, which prices out very early-stage teams
  • Key integrations — HubSpot, Salesforce, Segment, Shopify, WooCommerce — plus transactional email, API events and custom objects are gated behind the $159/month Premium plan
  • Reviewers report integration problems with the WordPress and Shopify APIs and inconsistent support response times
  • Requests for more native templates, better landing pages and stronger analytics recur across reviews

Encharge is a behaviour-driven marketing automation platform aimed at SaaS companies and agencies. Its visual flow builder turns product events — signups, feature use, failed payments, trial expiry — into branching email journeys, backed by segmentation, lead scoring, website tracking and native CRM and billing integrations. AI features are supplementary rather than central to the product.

Encharge is a behaviour-driven marketing automation and email platform built for SaaS companies, agencies and digital businesses rather than for e-commerce catalogues. Its centre of gravity is a visual flow builder in which user actions — a signup, a feature used for the first time, a trial about to lapse, a failed payment — trigger branching journeys that send email, update fields, score leads or push data to other systems. Around that sit advanced segmentation, event-based and company-level segments, unified user and company profiles, a no-code email editor, A/B testing, lead scoring, website tracking, native forms, free email verification and transactional email. The platform lists 48 or more native integrations on its own site — HubSpot, Salesforce, Segment, Stripe, Chargebee, Intercom, Typeform, Shopify, WooCommerce, Slack, Google Sheets and Zapier among them — with several of the deeper CRM and commerce connectors, plus transactional email, API events and custom objects, reserved for the higher-priced tier. AI is present but peripheral: a free GPT-4o-based email subject-line generator, and a separate product, Breezemail.AI, that categorises inbox mail. There is no AI journey optimisation, send-time prediction or predictive lead scoring. Founded in 2018 by Kalo Yankulov and Slav Ivanov and now listing a Miami, Florida address, Encharge says more than 4,000 companies have used it to send hundreds of millions of messages. Independent review sites rate it highly — 4.9 out of 5 across 297 GetApp reviews — with reviewers consistently praising the flow builder's clarity and the support team's responsiveness.

Ideal Buyer

The growth or lifecycle marketer at a product-led SaaS company who wants product behaviour, not uploaded lists, to drive onboarding, trial conversion and churn-prevention email.

Key Benefit

Product events from Stripe, Segment or your own app fire branching journeys the moment they happen, built in a visual flow builder without engineering help.

Key Features

  • Visual flow builder

Drag-and-drop journeys branch on user behaviour, letting non-engineers ship automation without writing conditional logic.

  • Behaviour-triggered email

Product events such as signup, feature use or failed payment fire messages at the moment they happen.

  • Advanced and event-based segmentation

Audiences are defined from tracked behaviour and custom object data, not just static list membership.

  • Unified user and company profiles

Person-level and account-level records support B2B account-based campaigns alongside individual lifecycle email.

  • Lead scoring and website tracking

Scores prospects from on-site behaviour so sales works a prioritised list rather than a raw export.

  • 48+ native integrations

HubSpot, Salesforce, Segment, Stripe, Chargebee, Intercom, Shopify and Zapier connect without middleware, though several are Premium-only.

  • AI subject-line generator

A free GPT-4o-based tool drafts subject-line variants, and is the platform's main customer-facing AI feature.

Capabilities

image generation
video generation
code generation
workflow automation
api access
audio generation
fine tuning
agent orchestration

Use Cases

  • SaaS trial-to-paid conversion

Trigger nudges from in-product behaviour so trial users get prompts tied to what they have not yet done.

  • Product onboarding sequences

Branch new-user education on the features each account has actually adopted rather than on elapsed days.

  • Churn prevention on billing failures

Stripe and Chargebee events fire dunning journeys the moment a payment fails, before the account lapses.

  • Account-based B2B nurture

Company profiles and custom objects let campaigns target whole buying groups rather than isolated contacts.

  • Agency multi-client management

Separate workspaces let an agency run distinct automation programmes for several clients from one login.
