About This Event

ISCA 2027, the 54th International Symposium on Computer Architecture, takes place June 5-9, 2027 in Atlanta, Georgia, co-located with the ACM Federated Computing Research Conference (FCRC). It is sponsored by ACM SIGARCH and IEEE CS TCCA, and it is where most of the published research on AI accelerators, GPU and TPU design, memory systems such as HBM, chiplet interconnects and datacenter hardware first appears. The 2027 call covers architectures for machine learning and machine learning for architecture, plus quantum, analog and in-memory computing. Main-track abstracts are due November 9, 2026 and papers November 16, 2026. A separate industry track closes in December, and every submission now passes a Phase 0 compliance check that includes generative-AI disclosure. Hyesoon Kim (Georgia Tech) and Prashant Nair (University of British Columbia) are general co-chairs, and Yuan Xie (HKUST) chairs the program.

  • ✓Hyperscaler and datacenter infrastructure architects
  • ✓CTOs and VPs of hardware engineering
  • ✓Heads of AI infrastructure
  • ✓PhD students and faculty in computer systems

Why Attend

If your organisation buys or designs AI infrastructure, ISCA is where you see the next three years of accelerator, memory and interconnect trade-offs while they are still papers, before they become vendor roadmaps. Hardware leads and infrastructure VPs can test claims about HBM capacity, chiplet economics and inference efficiency against peer-reviewed measurements, meet the academic and industry teams behind them, and recruit PhD talent. The FCRC co-location also puts the programming-language and systems communities in the same building that week.

Event Features

  • ✓Main technical track (abstracts Nov 9, papers Nov 16, 2026)
  • ✓Industry track (abstracts Dec 6, papers Dec 13, 2026)
  • ✓CFP area: accelerators, GPUs, TPUs, reconfigurable and domain-specific architectures
  • ✓CFP area: architectures for machine learning and machine learning for architecture
  • ✓CFP area: datacenter, cloud, serverless and disaggregated systems
  • ✓CFP area: interconnects, chiplets and die-to-die fabrics
  • ✓Co-located Federated Computing Research Conference (FCRC) week with joint plenaries

What Makes This Unique

  • ★The top-tier venue for computer architecture. Accelerator and memory-system designs for AI training and inference usually show up here before they reach products.
  • ★Co-located with FCRC 2027, so the same trip covers PLDI, STOC, SPAA, SIGMETRICS and PADS in one Atlanta week.
  • ★Has a separate industry track with its own December deadlines, so production silicon results from vendors get their own review track.
  • ★Strict review process: a Phase 0 compliance check (formatting, anonymization, generative-AI disclosure), a cap of 8 main-track submissions per author, and a required change note for resubmitted papers.
