About This Event

ACM ASIACCS 2027, the 22nd ACM Asia Conference on Computer and Communications Security, takes place 12-16 July 2027 in Macau. Run under ACM SIGSAC, ASIACCS is the Asian counterpart to ACM CCS and one of the handful of venues where practical attacks and defences are first published rather than merely reported. The 2027 edition organises its call for papers into seven tracks, and AI Security now stands as one of them in its own right — alongside software security and formal methods, web and network security, security usability and measurement, hardware and side channels, applied cryptography and distributed systems, and privacy and anonymity. Reviewing runs in two rounds, each with an early-rejection stage and a rebuttal phase, papers are double-blind and capped at twelve pages, and every accepted submission carries a mandatory open-science appendix covering artefacts and data.

Who Should Attend

  • CISOs and deputy CISOs
  • AI security and red-team leads
  • Security architects
  • Applied cryptography engineers
  • Security researchers
  • Privacy engineers

Why Attend

A CISO whose 2027 problem is agentic systems with production credentials gets, in one week, the current state of model extraction, prompt-injection defence, poisoning and inference-time attacks from the people building them, plus the hardware and cryptography research that will decide what your confidential-computing vendor can honestly promise. Because artefacts are mandatory, your team can reproduce the attacks against your own stack rather than waiting for a commercial scanner to implement them eighteen months later.

Event Features

  • Track 4: AI Security
  • Track 1: Software Security, Formal Methods, and Programming Languages
  • Track 2: Web and Network Security
  • Track 5: Hardware, Side Channels, and Cyber Physical Systems
  • Track 7: Privacy and Anonymity
  • Two-round submission cycle with rebuttal phases (26-30 October 2026 and 8-12 March 2027) and shepherded approval

What Makes This Unique

  • AI Security is one of seven equal top-level tracks, not a workshop bolted onto a systems-security programme
  • Two full review rounds with early-rejection and rebuttal phases, so the accepted set is adversarially tested before anyone stands up to present it
  • Mandatory open-science appendix on every accepted paper — artefacts and data are expected, which is what makes the results usable by a defending team
  • ACM SIGSAC's Asia-Pacific flagship, so the regional threat research that rarely reaches Western conference programmes is here first
