About This Event

The ACM Federated Computing Research Conference 2027 runs 5-11 June 2027 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, and is the once-every-few-years week in which ACM co-locates its flagship computing research conferences into a single event. FCRC 2027 federates PLDI, ISCA, PADS, STOC, SPAA and SIGMETRICS plus affiliated workshops, so the computer architecture community that designs AI accelerators, the systems-measurement community that quantifies how machine-learning infrastructure actually performs, and the languages and compilers community behind ML frameworks share one venue, one registration and a shared plenary programme. Each constituent conference keeps its own programme committee, call for papers and submission deadline; attendees move freely between them, which is the entire point of the format and the reason FCRC only happens every three to four years.

Why Attend

If your roadmap depends on what AI silicon, interconnect and ML-systems performance look like two to three years out, this is the week the people who decide that are in one hotel. An infrastructure or platform leader can spend Monday in architecture sessions on accelerator design, Wednesday in SIGMETRICS work on how training and inference clusters actually behave under load, and Thursday in compiler sessions that determine what your framework will be able to exploit. You leave with a read on which hardware and systems assumptions in your three-year capacity plan are about to stop holding, and with direct access to the researchers and vendor engineers publishing that work.

Event Features

  • ISCA — International Symposium on Computer Architecture, the venue where processor and accelerator architecture research is published
  • SIGMETRICS — ACM's conference on measurement and modeling of computer systems, 7-11 June
  • PLDI — ACM SIGPLAN Conference on Programming Language Design and Implementation, research-papers track with a two-round revision review
  • STOC — ACM Symposium on Theory of Computing
  • SPAA — the 39th ACM Symposium on Parallelism in Algorithms and Architectures, chaired by Yan Gu and Yihan Sun
  • PADS — ACM SIGSIM Conference on Principles of Advanced Discrete Simulation, plus affiliated workshops across the week

What Makes This Unique

  • Only happens every three to four years — the last FCRC was 2023, and co-locating ACM's flagship conferences at this scale is not repeated annually
  • One registration spans six independent conferences (PLDI, ISCA, PADS, STOC, SPAA, SIGMETRICS), so an architecture attendee can sit in ML-systems measurement sessions without a second trip
  • Each federated conference runs its own call for papers and deadline, so the submission calendar is staggered across late 2026 and early 2027 rather than a single cutoff
  • Plenary programme is shared across the whole week, which is where cross-community talks land that no single conference would programme on its own

Pricing Details

Registration has not opened and no pass prices are published yet. FCRC uses a single combined registration covering all federated conferences; historically attendees register once for the week rather than per conference. Check fcrc.acm.org for rates as the date approaches.
