ROBOVIS 2027 — 7th International Conference on Robotics, Computer Vision and Intelligent Systems
by SCITEVENTS
A research conference on robotics, computer vision and intelligent systems, co-located with VISAPP 2027 in Valletta.
About This Event
ROBOVIS 2027, the 7th International Conference on Robotics, Computer Vision and Intelligent Systems, takes place February 27-28, 2027 in Valletta, Malta, co-located with VISAPP 2027, GRIVAPP 2027 and PHOTOPTICS 2027. It has three areas: robotics, computer vision and intelligent systems. That makes it a smaller venue for perception and autonomy work than the flagship robotics meetings. Luís Paulo Reis (University of Porto) chairs the conference and Juha Röning (University of Oulu) chairs the program. Nuno Lau (Universidade de Aveiro) and Michele Magno (ETH Zurich) are confirmed keynote speakers. Papers are reviewed in two stages: the second-stage deadline for position and regular papers was extended to October 29, 2026, and the abstracts track closes December 3, 2026. A ROBOVIS registration also includes non-speaker access to the co-located conferences.

Topics & Focus Areas
Who Should Attend
- ✓Robotics researchers
- ✓Computer vision engineers
- ✓Autonomous systems developers
- ✓Industrial automation R&D leads
- ✓PhD students in AI and robotics
- ✓Academic faculty in intelligent systems
Why Attend
For an R&D or robotics lead, ROBOVIS is a low-cost way to scout perception, autonomy and embedded-vision research, and to meet European university groups working on it, without the scale or price of ICRA or IROS. Because registration includes VISAPP, one trip covers both robotics and applied computer vision. The abstracts track lets an industrial team present early results to academics and recruit from their labs.
Event Features
- ✓Conference area: Robotics
- ✓Conference area: Computer Vision
- ✓Conference area: Intelligent Systems
- ✓Keynotes by Nuno Lau (Universidade de Aveiro) and Michele Magno (ETH Zurich)
- ✓Abstracts track (submission December 3, 2026)
- ✓Co-located VISAPP 2027, GRIVAPP 2027 and PHOTOPTICS 2027
What Makes This Unique
- ★Co-located with VISAPP 2027, so one registration also covers the larger computer-vision conference next door, plus GRIVAPP and PHOTOPTICS.
- ★Two-stage paper review plus a late abstracts track (December 3, 2026), which leaves room to submit after the big robotics deadlines.
- ★Small, two-day format with published fees, so a researcher or R&D engineer can budget the trip exactly.
