Red Hat Summit 2027

Open source, hybrid cloud and enterprise AI, back in Boston
About This Event
Red Hat Summit 2027 runs 25–27 May 2027 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, confirmed both on Red Hat's own summit page and in a save-the-date blog post; registration is expected to go live in early 2027. Summit is Red Hat's annual customer and partner conference and the point at which its enterprise AI, hybrid cloud, virtualization and security roadmaps are made public. The 2026 edition drew over 6,000 attendees to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on 11–14 May under the theme 'Navigate what's now. Unlock what's next.', running breakouts, panels, keynotes and hands-on labs across more than 45 topic areas and 15 industries. AI dominated that agenda: two keynotes covered running AI in production, labs covered AIOps and agentic AI, and the announcements included an AI Factory built with NVIDIA, a new AI Inference Server and a distributed-inference open source project, OpenShift Virtualization positioned as the VMware alternative, and Ansible integration plans with HashiCorp Terraform and Vault.

Why Attend
For a CIO or platform lead running OpenShift, RHEL or Ansible at scale, Summit is the one week where the people who own those roadmaps are reachable, and where you learn what is genuinely supported versus what is still a technology preview — before you commit a migration budget to it. 2026 showed the pattern: the VMware-alternative question, AI inference serving and open-source supply-chain security were all settled far more usefully on the labs floor than in a vendor briefing. At roughly 6,000 attendees rather than 20,000, it also sits at the end of the enterprise-conference scale where engineer access is realistic.
Event Features

- ✓Breakout sessions across 45+ topic areas and 15 industries
- ✓Panels and technical deep dives with Red Hat engineers
- ✓Partner and sponsor expo floor
What Makes This Unique
- ★Red Hat's own roadmap event: RHEL, OpenShift, Ansible and Red Hat AI announcements land here and set the enterprise open-source agenda for the year.
- ★Deliberately hands-on — the 2026 programme ran labs on AIOps, agentic AI and AI tooling integration rather than keynote-only content.
- ★The main neutral venue for the OpenShift-as-VMware-alternative conversation, a headline theme in 2026.
- ★Broad coverage in one trip: 45-plus topic areas across 15 industries in 2026, so a platform team can cover virtualization migration, AI inference and supply-chain security without splitting up.
- ★Returns to Boston and the BCEC for 2027 after Atlanta in 2026, putting it in Red Hat's home region.

Pricing Details
Red Hat has not opened 2027 registration or published 2027 prices; its own save-the-date says registration is expected to go live in early 2027. Red Hat does not put the pass table on its public FAQ — Summit 2026 rates were visible only inside the registration flow — but it does run a dated early-bird cutoff, and for the May 2026 edition that cutoff was 23 February 2026, roughly eleven weeks ahead of the show. Budget for the same pattern in 2027 and join the Red Hat Summit mailing list for the rate announcement.
