Why Attend

For a CTO or VP weighing computer vision investment, ACCV shows next-generation perception models 12 to 18 months before they surface on a vendor roadmap. Osaka puts you in front of the Asian research base that supplies much of the manufacturing-inspection, autonomous-driving and retail-analytics talent pool, and the vision-language track is the clearest available read on where multimodal enterprise assistants are heading. Realistic outcomes are a recruiting pipeline, a basis for challenging CV vendor benchmark claims, and a shortlist of academic groups worth sponsoring.

Event Features

  • Workshops, tutorials, competitions and grand challenges, 14-15 December
  • Main technical programme, 16-18 December
  • Demonstration track for live computer vision systems
  • Double-blind peer review run on OpenReview
  • Proceedings published by Springer in Lecture Notes in Computer Science
  • Award-winning papers invited to the International Journal of Computer Vision

What Makes This Unique

  • The Asian Federation of Computer Vision's flagship conference — the regional counterpart to CVPR and ICCV
  • Held every two years, so the 2026 edition is the only one until 2028
  • Concentrates the Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Singaporean industrial vision research base in one room
  • Full Springer LNCS proceedings plus an International Journal of Computer Vision fast track for award papers
  • Double-blind review hosted publicly on OpenReview rather than a closed committee process
