Veeam DataAI Command Platform fuses Veeam's backup and recovery estate with the DSPM, privacy and AI-governance technology it bought with Securiti AI. Veeam DataAI Command Platform is the product of Veeam's $1.725 billion acquisition of Securiti AI, signed on 21 October 2025 and completed on 11 December 2025, which brought Securiti's data security posture management, privacy and AI-governance stack, 600 employees and founder Rehan Jalil — now Veeam's president of security and AI — into a company that already protects more than 550,000 customers across 150-plus countries, including 77% of the Global 2000.
