AI customer service, shopping and social agents for consumer brands, sharing one memory of every order and conversation
Siena AI is a customer experience platform that runs AI agents for support, shopping, social comments and quality review on behalf of consumer and DTC brands. It suits CX leaders at Shopify brands who want to automate post-purchase tickets in their own brand voice while keeping their existing helpdesk.
Siena is an AI customer experience platform for consumer brands, most of them direct-to-consumer sellers in beauty, apparel, health and home goods. The company was founded in 2023 by Andrei Negrau and Lisa Popovici, who previously built the conversational commerce tool Cartloop, and it started with a single AI customer service agent for online shops. That agent still handles the post-purchase work: order tracking, address changes, return labels, refunds, replacements and subscription changes such as skip, pause or swap. Siena has since added a Shopping Agent that answers product questions and recommends items inside the conversation, a Social Agent that replies to comments and DMs, a QA Agent that scores every conversation, a Reviews Agent, and Ask Siena, which lets brand operators query customer data in plain language. The company calls the shared data layer underneath the Agent of Record. It combines conversations, orders, subscriptions, reviews, loyalty data and brand knowledge, so a return logged by the support agent can inform what the shopping agent recommends later. Siena sits on top of the helpdesk a brand already runs (Zendesk, Gorgias, Kustomer, Gladly or Dixa) and pulls commerce data from Shopify or Fulfil. Named customers include SPANX, FIGS, HexClad, Comfrt, Kitsch, Grüns and Coterie. On October 6, 2026 Siena announced a $17M Series A led by York IE, bringing total funding to $29.7M. The Next Web named Gorgias, Intercom's Fin and Sierra as competitors and reported a phone voice agent as still in development at the time of the raise.
The head of CX at a Shopify or Fulfil DTC brand with enough monthly ticket volume to justify a $750 platform fee, who already runs Zendesk, Gorgias, Kustomer, Gladly or Dixa.
Routine post-purchase tickets (where is my order, returns, refunds, subscription changes) get resolved automatically in the brand's own voice, without replacing the helpdesk.

Key Features
- ✓Customer Service Agent
Resolves post-purchase requests such as order tracking, address changes, return labels, refunds and replacements without a human touching the ticket.
- ✓Shopping Agent
Answers product questions and recommends items inside the conversation, so shoppers can buy without leaving the chat.
- ✓Social Agent
Replies to comments and DMs on social channels, answering product questions and capturing purchase intent where customers already are.
- ✓Agent of Record memory layer
Combines conversations, orders, subscriptions, reviews and loyalty data so every Siena agent works from the same customer history.
- ✓QA Agent
Automatically scores every conversation, giving CX leads quality coverage that manual sampling of a few tickets cannot provide.
- ✓Ask Siena
Lets brand operators ask questions of customer data in plain language; Coterie says a weeks-long analysis became a ten-minute query.
- ✓Guardrails and enterprise controls
Brand voice rules, business rules, human handoff, SAML SSO, granular permissions and audit logs keep agent replies on policy.
Capabilities
Use Cases
- •Automating where-is-my-order tickets
A DTC brand routes order status, address change and return label requests to the Customer Service Agent, freeing human agents for complex cases.
- •Subscription retention
Customers who ask to cancel are offered skip, pause or swap options in the chat, with alternatives and upsell offers before a cancellation.
- •Social commerce engagement
Eskiin used the Social Agent on comments and DMs and reported a 50% rise in weekly comment engagement and 15 hours a week saved.
- •Tracing complaint spikes
SPANX used Siena Intelligence to trace a jump in shipping complaints back to one carrier problem in one region.
- •Conversation QA at full coverage
A CX lead uses the QA Agent to grade every AI and human conversation and spot where the agent escalates poorly.
Ideal For
Best For
- ✓DTC brands on Shopify or Fulfil automating order status, returns and refund tickets
- ✓Subscription brands that want customers to skip, pause or swap orders inside a chat
- ✓Brands that handle a high volume of Instagram and TikTok comments and DMs
- ✓CX teams that need every AI and human conversation scored for quality automatically
- ✓Brand operators who want to query customer conversations and order data in plain language
Not Ideal For
- ✗Stores on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud, since commerce integrations cover only Shopify and Fulfil
- ✗Small shops with low ticket volume, for whom the $750 monthly platform fee plus per-ticket charges will not pay back
- ✗B2B or non-commerce support teams, because the agents and integrations are built around orders, subscriptions and returns
- ✗Teams without CX staff to tune the agent over several weeks, as reviewers describe ongoing configuration work

Market Analysis
Pros
- ✓Published list pricing ($750/month plus $0.90 per automated ticket), which is rare in this category
- ✓Covers support, shopping, social and QA in one product instead of four point tools
- ✓G2 reviewers quoted by eesel praise the support team's responsiveness during setup
- ✓SOC 2, GDPR, CPRA and HIPAA listed as compliant on its trust center
Cons
- ✗G2 reviewers report the agent sometimes keeps replying after a handoff to a human, or closes tickets when a request is out of scope
- ✗Reviewers say it needs ongoing tuning, and Siena's own blueprint puts full operational autonomy at about six weeks
- ✗Commerce integrations cover only Shopify and Fulfil
- ✗The 'up to 80%' automation figure is company-reported and measures interactions handled without humans, not resolution

Siena's pricing page lists a $750/month platform fee plus $0.90 per automated ticket, with implementation and support priced by quote. A competitor's breakdown (eesel AI) puts 3,000 automated conversations a month at about $3,450 before volume discounts, and notes the charge applies per automated conversation whether or not the issue was resolved. There is no free trial or self-serve plan.
