Classie Supervise
by Classie AI
Real-time supervision for sanctioned and shadow AI agents, with OPA policies enforced inline across browser, endpoint and cloud
Classie Supervise is an enterprise AI-agent oversight platform that finds sanctioned and unsanctioned agents across browsers, endpoints and cloud infrastructure, records what each one does, and enforces Open Policy Agent rules inline. It is for CIOs, CISOs and IT teams that need to allow, redirect, pause or stop agent activity as it happens and keep an audit trail of who initiated it.
Classie Supervise is the third product from Classie AI, a San Jose company led by CEO Poonacha Kongetira. It became generally available on October 1, 2026, after Classie Discover (April 2026), which builds an inventory of AI apps, agents, users and credentials, and Classie Analyze (July 2026), which adds context such as intent, risk scoring and spend by team, user and agent. Supervise adds the intervention layer. Lightweight sensors deployed as a browser extension, an endpoint agent and a cloud infrastructure sensor observe AI activity, and administrators write operating rules in an Open Policy Agent (OPA) engine that the sensors enforce inline. Rules can block unsanctioned AI apps, filter personal-account access or stop an agent reaching data it should not, and enforcement actions are allow, redirect, pause or terminate. For each session Supervise produces a runtime transcript tying the initiating person or agent identity to intent, data accessed, actions taken and total cost, which Kongetira describes as a chain of custody for agent activity. The console also shows an AI posture assessment that scores credentials and authorization, connectivity and configuration by severity. Classie says it covers tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Perplexity and Glean, deploys in private cloud, hybrid or on-premises on Kubernetes with Helm charts, installs in about 15 minutes and reaches a monitored posture in about five days, with sensitive data kept in the customer's infrastructure. Techstrong reported observability pricing from $99 per user. Classie names no customers, and its funding is not public. It competes in a crowded agent-security market alongside Zenity, Alice and Microsoft Agent 365.
A CISO or CIO who knows employees are running AI tools and agents IT never approved and needs to see and stop risky agent actions without banning AI outright.
One console that discovers shadow agents, records a per-session transcript of identity, data, actions and cost, and enforces OPA policies inline before an agent action takes effect.

Key Features
- ✓Agent and AI app discovery
Builds an inventory of sanctioned and unsanctioned AI apps, agents, users and credentials across browsers, endpoints and cloud infrastructure.
- ✓OPA policy enforcement
Administrators write rules in an Open Policy Agent engine that lightweight sensors enforce inline, so policy uses a standard language instead of a proprietary one.
- ✓Real-time intervention
Lets operators allow, redirect, pause or terminate agent activity when it moves outside approved boundaries, before the action completes.
- ✓Runtime transcripts
Records who initiated each session, what the agent did, what data it accessed and what it cost, giving auditors a chain of custody.
- ✓AI posture assessment
Scores credentials and authorization, connectivity and configuration for AI tools and ranks the findings by severity for remediation.
- ✓Cost and spend tracking
Breaks AI spend down by team, user and agent so finance can see which agents and tools drive the bill.
- ✓Private deployment options
Runs in private cloud, hybrid or on-premises on Kubernetes with Helm charts, keeping sensitive data inside the customer's infrastructure.
Use Cases
- •Shadow AI discovery
Security teams roll out the browser and endpoint sensors and get a list of every AI tool and agent employees actually use within days.
- •Stopping data exfiltration by agents
An OPA rule blocks an agent from reaching a sensitive data source or a personal account, and the action is paused before data leaves.
- •Agent incident investigation
After a bad outcome, investigators open the runtime transcript to see which identity started the agent, what it accessed and what it changed.
- •AI cost allocation
Finance and IT use per-team and per-agent spend views to charge back AI usage and spot agents running up unexpected costs.
Ideal For
Best For
- ✓Finding unsanctioned AI apps and agents running across employee browsers and endpoints
- ✓Enforcing allow, redirect, pause or terminate rules on agent actions with Open Policy Agent
- ✓Audit trails that tie each agent action to a user or agent identity, the data touched and the cost
- ✓Tracking AI spend by team, user and agent for finance and IT
- ✓Regulated or data-sensitive organizations that want the supervision stack on-premises or in a private cloud
Not Ideal For
- ✗Buyers who need reference customers or independent reviews before a pilot, since Classie names none and no G2 reviews were reachable
- ✗Teams that only need to observe one agent framework in development, where an LLM observability tool such as Langfuse or Arize is lighter and cheaper
- ✗Organizations without the Kubernetes skills to run Helm-based private or on-premises deployments, if they will not accept a hosted option

Cons
- ✗No customers named and no production results published, as Forkast noted
- ✗Pricing is unconfirmed by the vendor; the $99 per user figure comes from press coverage
- ✗Launch coverage from Techstrong, Forkast and VMBlog largely repeats company messaging, with no independent evaluation
- ✗Founding date, funding and compliance certifications are not published

- ✓Demo or AI assessment via sales
- ✓Private cloud, hybrid or on-premises deployment
Classie's own site publishes no prices and routes buyers to a demo or assessment. Techstrong reported observability pricing starting at $99 per user; Forkast notes this figure comes from third-party coverage and that tiers, minimums and whether intervention costs extra are unconfirmed. Treat $99 per user as a starting point to verify with sales.
