Alibaba Cloud Agent Native Cloud

Agent-native cloud suite for building, running, governing and observing enterprise AI agents at scale
Alibaba Cloud Agent Native Cloud is a cloud suite designed specifically for enterprise AI agents, covering lifecycle management, multi-agent coordination, runtime observability and inference optimization. Unveiled at WAIC 2026, it targets enterprises moving agent pilots into governed production deployments.
Alibaba Cloud unveiled its agent-native cloud suite at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 in Shanghai, announced in the company's newsroom on 20 July 2026, positioning it as cloud architecture redesigned around AI agents rather than conventional applications. The suite is built on four named services. AgentRun provides lifecycle management spanning agent development, deployment and operations. AgentLoop, a new addition, enables real-time tracing, evaluation and optimization of agent performance in production. AgentTeams, also new, supports coordination and governance across multiple specialized agents so organizations can manage complex multi-agent workflows with built-in control. TokenWorks, delivered as a service within Alibaba Cloud's Platform for AI (PAI) via PAI-EAS, integrates request routing, inference execution, compute reuse and scheduling to improve throughput, cut cost and raise reliability for large-model inference. Underlying the suite is infrastructure tuned for agent workloads — native sandbox environments, workload isolation, elastic scaling and enterprise identity integration. Alibaba Cloud presented the announcement alongside a broader agent-native push at WAIC 2026 that included Qwen 3.8-Max-Preview, a 2.4-trillion-parameter model, and T-Head SAIL, an open-source AI software stack compatible with mainstream ecosystems; the company also reported cumulative Zhenwu chip shipments of 560,000 units as of April 2026 across more than 400 customers in over 20 industries. The suite is aimed at enterprises that need agent governance, observability and cost control as a platform capability rather than something assembled per project.
