IBM's 2026 Cost of a Data Breach Report reveals AI-enabled breaches surged 56% to one in four malicious incidents, costing $6M average. Meanwhile, 92% of AI-breached organizations had zero access controls, shadow AI doubled to 43% of incidents, and only 18% of SOCs deploy AI agents for vulnerability management. The economics of cyber risk have fundamentally shifted.
