Hex-Rays Buys HexAI and Ships Its New AI Tools Outside IDA
Hex-Rays, maker of IDA Pro, is buying HexAI (formerly Ventris) for a reported $30M-$35M. Its new AI research tools are currently available only through HexAI, so IDA customers should settle model choice, air-gap support and pricing before they renew.
