About This Event

The ACM Web Conference 2027 (WWW 2027) runs 10-14 May 2027 in Dublin, Ireland, and is the premier annual forum for presenting and discussing advances in research, development, standards and applications shaping the future of the Web. The programme is deliberately broad: research sessions, posters and demonstrations, a PhD symposium, workshops and tutorials on 10-11 May, an industry track written for practitioners rather than academics, plus keynote speakers, panels and special tracks. The series has run since 1989. The 2027 edition is chaired by Owen Conlan of Trinity College Dublin, Cathal Gurrin of Dublin City University and Geert-Jan Houben of TU Delft. The research and industry track timeline is already published: abstracts are due 11 October 2026 and full papers 18 October 2026, results follow on 10 December, a rebuttal window runs 12-19 December 2026, and camera-ready versions are due 31 January 2027.

Why Attend

For an enterprise leader, WWW is where the retrieval, recommendation, search and web-agent techniques that reach production in two years get argued over first - and the industry track exists specifically so applied work is presented alongside the theory. Dublin also places the 2027 edition inside the European research and regulatory orbit, which changes how the web measurement, trust and safety sessions read compared with a US venue. Go to see which university groups are working on your problem, to recruit from them, and to calibrate how far ahead of your roadmap the published literature actually is. The full submission timeline is public, so you can also time an industry-track submission of your own.

Event Features

  • Research track sessions (abstracts 11 Oct 2026, full papers 18 Oct 2026)
  • Industry track aimed at practitioners
  • Posters and demonstrations
  • PhD Symposium
  • Workshops and tutorials, 10-11 May 2027
  • Keynote speakers, panels and special tracks

What Makes This Unique

  • The oldest continuously running Web research venue - the series dates to 1989
  • Runs a dedicated industry track alongside the research programme, so practitioners present applied work rather than only listening
  • First Dublin edition, chaired jointly by Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University and TU Delft
  • Publishes a full author rebuttal window (12-19 December 2026) between results and final versions - a process most commercial conferences have no equivalent for
