About This Event

Agentics Day: MCP + Agents Europe 2027 is a CNCF-hosted, community-driven event on the Model Context Protocol and AI agents, held March 15, 2027 in Barcelona, Spain as a co-located event of KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe (March 15–18). MCP is the emerging open standard for connecting AI models with external tools, data and workflows, and it moved under vendor-neutral stewardship when it was donated to the Linux Foundation in December 2025. The call for proposals covers MCP fundamentals and architecture, building MCP servers and clients, security, trust and reliability, extending AI systems with MCP, developer tooling and debugging, production case studies, enterprise integration and governance, performance and scaling, and the protocol roadmap. The format debuted at KubeCon Europe 2026 in Amsterdam as a half-day with more than ten talks.

Who Should Attend

  • Site reliability engineers (SREs)
  • Infrastructure and security engineers operating agents
  • Builders of AI agents, MCP tool servers and integrations
  • Open-source maintainers and contributors
  • CTOs and heads of platform

Why Attend

Agents only become an enterprise problem when they touch real systems, and MCP is fast becoming the layer that connects them. This is the day in Europe where the platform, SRE and security engineers who will operate agentic workloads on Kubernetes compare production implementations, governance models and failure modes, without a single vendor controlling the agenda. A CTO or head of platform should send the team that will own MCP servers in production: they come back with patterns for authentication, tool governance and scaling, and a line to the people shaping the spec. Talk proposals close October 18, 2026.

Event Features

  • MCP fundamentals and architecture
  • Building MCP servers and clients; developer tooling and debugging
  • Security, trust and reliability for agents
  • MCP in production: case studies
  • Enterprise integration and governance; performance and scaling
  • Roadmap and community evolution of the protocol

What Makes This Unique

  • Vendor-neutral: CNCF-hosted, with MCP under Linux Foundation stewardship since December 2025
  • Co-located with KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe, which drew over 10,000 engineers and 15 co-located events in 2026
  • Practitioner agenda focused on real-world implementations, lessons learned and deployment considerations (per CNCF), selected through an open CFP
  • Explicitly aimed at the platform, SRE and infrastructure teams who will operate and secure agentic workloads

Pricing Details

No standalone ticket: entry requires the All-Access In-Person KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2027 pass, which covers every CNCF-hosted co-located event on March 15 plus the three-day main conference. The cheaper 'KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Only' pass does not include co-located events. The Linux Foundation says registration opens in October 2026; 2027 prices are not yet published.
